In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, NSS-LSR Union and Advisory Committee attempts to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of breast cancer through education on symptoms and treatment. Most of us have been touched in some way or the other by breast cancer, the number one cause of cancer deaths in women worldwide. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and today, we wore pink to stand together and united against breast cancer. Early detection saves lives. This month, we remember breast cancer fighters, survivors and their families.
