Nexus 2023
The much-awaited annual youth convention in LSR, Nexus’23, organised by NSS-LSR, was a 2 day long event which informed and initiated social change vis a vis the challenges of disability with its theme- ‘Discourse on Disability: Building an Inclusive tomorrow’.
9th International Yoga Day
On the occasion of the 9th International Yoga Day on 21st June 2023, NSS-LSR conducted a yoga workshop for the volunteers under the guidance of Yogacharya Kajal Chaudhary at Exhibition Hall 1 in the college campus. The workshop, which included one physical session, in its true essence celebrated the importance of global health, harmony and peace and recognized its role in interconnecting the mind, body and soul to step closer into enlightenment.
World Environment Day
As a part of the World Environment Day celebrations, NSS LSR organized a Waste to Art Workshop in collaboration with the Prakriti Society and NoPlanetB. Amidst the backdrop of the lush green Lodhi gardens and soothing music, the volunteers sat down to transform discarded materials like credit cards, plastic bottles, bangles, plastic caps, cardboard boxes into beautiful art pieces.
Creativity bloomed as everyone went around working, appreciating and saving the beauty that planet Earth is. The workshop served to emphasize on the importance of going green as there is no Planet B.
